Ottawa Tree Removal

Sadly, trees do have expiry. If trees were only found in naturalized areas, then it would be inconsequential whether a tree was fated to fall. However, we live in a built-in environment and sometimes trees have to come down.

I have no hesitation in saying that ISA certified arborist are not “tree morticians”. We have the tools to perpetuate trees from planting to stately maturity. We are far less likely to sell the removal of trees in comparison to someone who is not trained and familiar with the breadth of tree science that promotes healthy urban forests.

When it comes to tree removals, from the smallest to the most complex tree removals, there is no guess work. We use best practices and safety is paramount to our operation.

The municipal laws surrounding tree removals are constantly changing.  Currently, trees not dead or not an imminent hazard, > 12” (30cm) in diameter within the urban boundary require permits.

We will inform you throughout the process and take care of required permits.
